Vote Whatcha KNOW

Early voting is ON in Highlands County! If you’ve made your mind up, avoid the crowds.

I post something like this every election cycle, and it amazes me every time how many people it surprises; YOU DO NOT "SPOIL" YOUR BALLOT BY NOT VOTING IN EVERY RACE. Feel strongly about the governor’s race? Vote there and leave the rest blank. Got a preference in the County Commission, School Board or another race, but don’t know much about one of the judicial races? You do NOT have to fill in a space on every race! Yeah – if you only know something about one race, I’d probably hassle you to do a bit more homework next time, but almost nobody has time to get the details on every single contest. Don’t know anything? Don’t feel like the Lone Ranger. Take a "pass" and vote what you KNOW!
