Congratulations to the folks at Nu-Hope for another great golf outing today. It’s their 31st edition – Sandy Foster ran it for years when he was the head of the agency, and built it into one of the county’s half-dozen "big" golf events each year. Ingra Gardner and her team have held up the tradition well since she took over a few years ago. Deer Run was full, the raffle big, the play was fast and – well, okay … Chris Pinson and I got Fred and Brad to join us and together we won first place on net score at the end of it all! Would have been fun even if we hadn’t done well, though. Congratulations Ingra, Laurie and everyone at Nu-Hope – y’all done good!
Good Job, Nu-Hope!
